Eight years after the launch of the E30 sedan BMW finally presented the E30 touring (E30/5). Obviously BMW needed 16 years of time to overcome the flop of the -02 touring.

The 3 series touring was not too popular in the beginning: Lots of people didn't see the purpose of a REAL sports utility vehicle.

After some time the advantage was seen by many: The sedan's handling combined with outstanding elegance and a much more practical trunk made the E30/5 become very popular.

Collector's choice: Tourings with lots of options without non-BMW accessories. Hardly available: 325i or 325iX in perfect condition.
